Job summary

Qualcomm Incorporated seeks a strategic, hands-on Senior Director of EDA & HPC Engineering Platforms to lead vision, architecture, and global operations behind our silicon and systems engineering.

You will own an end-to-end portfolio spanning HPC grids, EDA license orchestration, SCM, Linux/Unix, containers, observability, data engineering, and IP protection. This is a senior role shaping productivity, tape-out timelines, and infrastructure security.

Qualifications

• Define multi-year strategy and architecture for EDA/HPC platforms.
• Lead global organization of directors and managers with focus on operational excellence.
• Interact with senior leadership (VP level and above) to secure funding and alignment.

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi-year strategy, target-state architecture, and investment roadmap for EDA/HPC platforms.
• Lead a global organization of Directors, Managers, Architects, and SREs; build succession plans and a culture of excellence.
• Govern architecture with ADRs, reviews, and standards across all platform domains.
• Own the annual operating plan, budget, and capacity investments; present ROI and TCO to executives.
• Define target state for multi-scheduler operations (LSF, PBS Pro, Slurm) and implement modernization.
