Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship to provide strategic leadership for stewardship programs and donor communications. This role drives donor engagement and recognition efforts across campus to support fundraising priorities.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead a team, manage top donor portfolios, coordinate impact reporting, and collaborate with colleges and units to execute donor-centered strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 7+ years in donor engagement or advancement.
• Experience designing engagement strategies for boards or giving societies.
• Experience managing complex event portfolios across multiple locations.
• Strong project management and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Ability to work with senior leadership and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-range plans and performance measures for stewardship.
• Lead stewardship initiatives to strengthen donor relationships.
• Oversee donor recognition, reporting and high-visibility communications.
• Collaborate with campus partners to align stewardship with fundraising goals.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
