Job summary

Lions World Vision Institute seeks a Senior Director of Donation Services to lead Donor Referral Services, Recovery Services, and the Performance Optimization Team. The role ensures staffing, workflow, and data-driven decisions across donation operations.

You will drive performance, coach managers, and collaborate with partners to align with LWVI policies and regulatory standards while modeling leadership commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, biological sciences, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare, organ/tissue/eye donation, clinical operations, recovery services, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Experience with performance management, operational reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using data and analytics to monitor performance and support operational decision-making.
• CTBS or CEBT certification preferred or expected within timeframe after hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for Recovery Services, Donor Referral Services, and the Performance Optimization Team.
• Direct daily clinical operations by ensuring staffing, scheduling, workflow, and high-quality donor referral and recovery processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with LWVI policies, EBAA, AATB, FDA Good Tissue Practices, and other standards.
• Monitor operational performance using data, dashboards, and KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Develop managers and staff through coaching, feedback, accountability, and engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to coordinate donation, recovery, quality, and distribution continuum.
• Oversee performance optimization initiatives, including reporting, EMR access, analytics, and projects.
• Support budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain partner relationships with tissue and recovery agencies; model LWVI leadership commitments.
