Job summary

World Vision International (New) seeks a senior fundraising and resource mobilisation lead to drive donor engagement, planning, and proposal development. You will oversee the donor landscape, coordinate consortium efforts, and ensure strategic alignment with national programmes and WV values.

The role requires extensive experience in fundraising, programme design, and external engagement, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Degree in International Development Studies or related field.
Fluency in English and Portuguese.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven fundraising experience with diverse donors.
Experience in programme design, pipeline management, donor positioning, and consortium development.

Responsibilities

Lead donor engagement and prioritisation within the donor landscape.
Plan and pre-position for new opportunities; gather donor intelligence and initiate programme design.
Develop a practical resource mobilisation plan aligned with national strategy and donor landscape.
Lead proposal development for medium/large opportunities and manage grant renewals.
Oversee budgeting with cost recovery and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
Coordinate external engagement and marketing resources for donor audiences.
