Job summary

nVent is seeking a Senior Director of Digital & Process Transformation to lead enterprise‑wide initiatives modernizing business processes and digitizing operations. The role partners with executive leadership to remove friction in complex organizations, delivering growth and productivity through digital capabilities and governance.

The position requires 10+ years in industrial settings, deep Lean/Agile expertise, and the ability to influence at the VP/SVP level, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Information Systems or Computer Science preferred; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, process excellence, strategy, or operational leadership in industrial, electrical, or manufacturing environments.
• Proven success leading enterprise or regional transformation initiatives with measurable financial and operational outcomes.
• Strong background in Lean, Agile, portfolio/program management, and digitally enabled process improvement.
• Experience influencing at the VP/SVP level without direct authority.
• Knowledge of CRM, ERP, cloud technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with scaled agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital and process transformation roadmaps aligned to enterprise strategy and growth objectives, scaling use cases across functions.
• Drive end-to-end process redesign using Lean and Agile to eliminate waste and improve cross-functional flow.
• Evolve operating models, governance, and decision rights; standardize processes regionally or globally.
• Own a transformation portfolio with KPIs and value realization plans; publish KPIs monthly.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of new tools and ways of working; advise senior leaders.
• Collaborate with business functions to understand segment challenges and convert them to value creation opportunities.
• Build and lead a high-performing Business Process Analyst team, fostering continuous learning and development.
