Job summary

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center seeks a Director of Dietary/Food Services to lead the nutrition department for patients and staff. You will ensure daily, quality nutritional services in a clean, safe environment by developing and maintaining policies in line with clinical directives and regulatory standards.

The role includes managing food ordering, preparation, delivery, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• 5-8 years’ experience in food service. Healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) required; ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required.
• Good organizational skills; familiarity with inventorying, recipes, procedures and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee nutrition services for patients and employees.
• Develop, manage, and maintain policies and procedures for nutrition services.
• Oversee food ordering, preparation, delivery, cleanup, equipment maintenance, and sanitation activities.
