Job summary

Washington Nationals Dream Foundation seeks a Senior Director of Development to oversee front-line fundraisers, grow the donor pipeline, and lead major gifts strategies within the Marketing and Development department.

Ideal candidate will have 10–15 years in frontline major gifts fundraising with management experience, expertise in CRM systems like Salesforce, and a proven ability to secure six- and seven-figure gifts in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of frontline major gifts fundraising experience with 5+ years of managing a development team.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience; strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Exceptional writing and strong communication abilities; capable of leading donor-centered fundraising programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute major gifts and corporate development strategy with CMDO.
• Grow donor pipeline by identifying and cultivating new prospects.
• Lead moves management and oversee front-line fundraisers.
• Oversee grants processes and stewardship of donors.
• Provide guidance and establish accountability across the team.
