Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Associate Director, Program Management to lead the execution and growth of the Multi-Function Processing (MFP) programs within the Open Systems portfolio. This onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA requires guiding multidisciplinary teams through design, development, integration, testing, and manufacturing transition while ensuring performance and customer commitments.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, risk, and supplier coordination, while engaging with customers

Qualifications

• University degree (or advanced degree) with 10–12+ years experience in programs.
• Experience with earned value management in program execution.
• Experience with government contracts, RFIs, competitive proposals, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex MFP programs across lifecycle from development to production.
• Guide cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts) for program success.
• Own program performance including cost, schedule, technical execution, and contractual commitments.
• Develop program plans, metrics, milestones, schedules, budgets, and critical path activities.
• Drive profitability and alignment with annual operating plan (AOP).
• Lead strategic planning, business development, competitive proposals, and bidding activities.
