Liberty Mutual's US Retail Markets Data Science Team is recruiting a Senior Director I, Data Science to lead predictive analytics efforts across Small Commercial. You will guide strategic direction, manage a team of data scientists, and partner with business leaders to deliver actionable insights and tools that support data-driven decision making.

The role blends high-level strategy with hands-on analytics leadership, including building scalable models, dashboards, and decision-support systems

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics of models.
• Expert knowledge of predictive toolset and highly technical tools.
• Proven ability to lead and drive projects and assignments to completion through others.
• Exchanges ideas and communicates complex information clearly to senior leaders.
• Interacts with senior executives and builds effective relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical direction for data science teams and projects at scale.
• Coach and develop a team of data scientists, potentially including managers.
• Collaborate with business partners to build tools, dashboards and decision aids for strategic decisions.
• Deliver highly technical and cross-functional predictive analytics initiatives with broad business impact.
• Shape the data science community and lead cross-functional groups.
