Job summary

JLL seeks a Sr. Director, Data Engineering for REMS to lead the data engineering function across global operations. You will own the roadmap, architecture, and delivery of data platforms powering property and lease analytics, facilities workflows, and operational intelligence.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership in data engineering, deep data modeling expertise, and strong communication with product and enterprise teams. Chicago or Dallas-based with 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Proven data modeling across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL schemas.
• Experience building enterprise data platforms with governance and quality controls.
• 5+ years of people management or lead roles in data engineering.
• Strong communication with executives and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Define REMS data platform strategy and unified architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and set engineering standards.
• Oversee data pipelines, APIs, and back-end data services.
• Own data modeling standards and ensure scalable consumption.
• Establish DataOps, lineage, and compliance controls.
