Job summary

Qualifications

• Fully qualified holder of the CPA and/or CFA designation.
• Holder of or pursuing a credential in valuation (ABV, CVA, ASA or equivalent).
• 6+ years of prior experience in economic damages and/or business valuation.
• Prior experience at one of the 'Big Four' accounting firms would be an asset.
• Strong expert report writing skills to complement analytics.
• Able to quickly assimilate relevant information and develop creative approaches.
• The ability to manage and prioritize time and team against deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem resolution abilities.
• Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills.
• The desire to join in with, and/or lead, auxiliary tasks within a growing practice.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• The ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assignment from cradle to grave, designing work plans and allocating team members.
• Be the operational client-facing member, developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Participate in business development by identifying potential clients and leads.
• Engage in marketing activities including drafting articles and supporting events.
• Prepare and present pitches and proposals for prospective clients.
• Demonstrate judgment on risks, ensuring compliance with internal risk processes.
• Coach and develop junior team members and support their development needs.
