Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Cyber Security to lead enterprise-wide cyber security strategy, strengthen security operations, and protect Clarivate's systems, products, data, and customers across healthcare, life sciences, and regulated environments.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to advance a risk-based program, improve control maturity, and drive resilience of Clarivate's Life Science business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in cyber security within healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams or cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiar with HIPAA, FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP and data integrity principles.
• Experience defining and executing enterprise cyber security strategy, roadmaps, controls, and operating models.
• Experience in security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, threat monitoring, security engineering, or cyber risk management.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar standards.
• Ability to translate cyber risk and metrics into clear recommendations for leadership

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce enterprise risk and strengthen security posture.
• Lead cyber security programs across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, governance, risk, and compliance.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and business leaders to embed security requirements into products and processes.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response for security incidents with internal and external teams as needed.
• Drive improvement of security controls, policies, standards, dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
• Evaluate current and emerging cyber threats, identify gaps, and prioritize remediation with tech and product teams.
• Support audit, certification, customer assurance, and regulatory activities with measurable security practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with resource planning and coaching.
• Communicate risk and program performance to executive audiences.
