Job summary

Forefront is seeking a Director of Culinary Services to lead clinical dining programs, ensure food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. You will manage budgets, menu strategy, vendor partnerships, and teams across residential dining, retail, and catering in a healthcare setting.

In this exempt role, you’ll drive continuous improvement, uphold ServSafe and HACCP standards, and collaborate with leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences aligned with Forefront’s mission.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in healthcare or large-scale dining.
• Strong financial oversight including budgets and cost controls.
• Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, OSHA standards.
• Ability to develop menus and dining programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary operations including production, menu execution, catering, and events.
• Own food, labor, and controllable expense performance; manage budgets and purchasing.
• Recruit, train, and retain high-performing culinary teams; foster accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with health department, ServSafe, HACCP, OSHA, CMS, and company standards.
• Drive resident/client satisfaction through dining experiences and program improvements.
• Execute corporate culinary initiatives and support special events and marketing efforts.
