Job summary

JLL in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Director of Construction/Team Lead to drive a portfolio of corporate interior projects from $5M to $150M+. You will lead a regional project team, mentor junior PMs, and oversee strategy, design, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and closeout.

The role requires 10–15+ years in real estate strategies with corporate interiors, multi-project management (4–8 at a time), and a Bachelor's in a related field. On-site, US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years’ experience leading Real Estate strategies with a focus on Corporate Interiors.
• Experience managing multiple diverse projects from $5M to $150M+ in size.
• Ability to manage 4–8 projects at a time.
• Experience mentoring a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of projects, including strategy, programming, design, schedule, entitlements, bidding, procurement, permitting, execution and close out.
• Act as player/coach and mentor a group of junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators executing projects.
• Develop master project schedules and manage performance against milestones and critical path items on multiple projects.
• Prepare project updates and communicate risks early, with solutions to meet client-driven schedule and budget.
• Coordinate due diligence and prepare RFPs for design and contractor services.
