Job summary

LJC Design & Engineering seeks an experienced Interiors Project Manager to lead diverse design projects across the United States. You will collaborate with the leadership team to grow the Chicago presence and portfolio, guiding projects from concept through construction with a focus on design excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in interior design or architecture, 15+ years’ experience, and architectural/interior design licensure. Travel nationwide is expected; LEED/WELL is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture as required.
• Registration as architect or interior designer preferred.
• LEED/WELL accreditation desirable but not required.
• Proven design and technical capabilities with project portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop spatial program and project requirements with client and management.
• Maintain project schedule and internal resource planning.
• Oversee design development and coordination with internal team and consultants.
• Develop material palettes and furniture specifications.
• Prepare final documents for submission to authorities and clients.
• Lead client presentations and document communications.
• Support RFP responses and marketing proposals.
• Coach and mentor colleagues across projects.
