Job summary

Rover is hiring a Director of Corporate Development to source and execute acquisitions and strategic partnerships that accelerate market position. This senior role oversees the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing and valuation through negotiation, close, and integration.

The ideal candidate brings a decade of corporate development or advisory experience, expertise in financial modeling, and strong collaboration with senior stakeholders across Rover. A competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate development and/or M&A experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills including forecasting and synergy estimation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build trusted internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work with VP of Corporate Development to evaluate, negotiate, and execute acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Develop investment theses and strategic rationale for potential acquisitions.
• Build target financial models including forecast scenarios and integration costs.
• Coach and develop junior team members on financial modeling and deal process.
• Drive post-close evaluation of completed transactions against success criteria.
