Job summary

Samsung Electronics America seeks a Senior Content & Development executive to lead US/CA initiatives, develop first-to-market content experiences, and manage budgetary functions. Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in content production, production management and development.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred but not required.
• Experience at OTT/FAST/Connected TV landscapes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to identify stakeholders and influence organizations.
• Strong problem solving and ability to bring structure to large, ambiguous problems.
• Self-motivated with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute content strategy aligned with Samsung TV PLUS vision and business growth.
• Collaborate with programming, licensing, merchandising, legal, BD and other teams to source first-to-market content.
• Identify trending content types and curate a compelling mix of content.
• Manage content budgets and resource deployment to meet objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams across development, production and packaging.
• Use analytics and viewer insights to optimize content decisions.
• Oversee live productions or broadcasts and production workflows.
• Drive innovation in content formats and business models.
