Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Sales Director to lead a team of District Managers and Sales Representatives in a dermatology-focused franchise, driving performance to meet program goals.

The role includes coaching, training, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, HR, and operations, plus budget management and strategic planning. Frequent travel to districts and corporate offices is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree required; M.S. or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• 1+ years in leading national or regional teams/2nd line leader experience.
• Dermatology experience strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional influence skills.
• Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage Syneos Health District Managers and interface with Syneos Health Sales Representatives; responsibilities include selection, evaluation, and retention of employees.
• Oversee training of district managers and representatives; provide ongoing coaching.
• Coordinate with training to provide new hire training and workshops for district and national meetings.
• Inspire ownership, accountability, initiative, and engagement through clear vision and objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, HR, and operations to align strategies and messaging.
• Manage franchise budget and expenses, maximizing revenue while controlling costs.
• Travel frequently within franchise districts and to corporate offices.
