New Leaf Energy in Lowell, MA seeks a Senior Director of Construction and Operations to lead the end-to-end execution and optimization of our IPP project portfolio. You will own EPC management, drive budget compliance, and oversee third-party operations to ensure reliable performance from construction through long-term operation.

Qualified candidates bring 10+ years in renewable energy with hands-on construction and asset-operations leadership, plus a strong finance and risk management

Qualifications

• 10+ years of renewable energy experience, combining hands-on construction project delivery or EPC management with asset operations leadership at owner/developer level.
• Portfolio leadership with multi-project EPC procurement strategies and cross-functional teams.
• Financial literacy including project finance, tax equity, IE processes and debt covenants.

Responsibilities

• Construction Execution & EPC management across all active projects.
• Portfolio delivery governance from construction kickoff through COD to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with capital plans.
• Lead project delivery teams and direct managers responsible for day-to-day site activities, scheduling, and commissioning milestones.
• Safety leadership across all EPCs and subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols.
• Turnkey operator oversight with KPIs and SLAs for asset management providers.
• Oversee third-party maintenance and spare parts strategies to minimize downtime.
• Asset management and long-term operational planning to optimize performance.
