Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director, Compliance Business Partner to advise on risk-based compliance across commercial and other activities. You will collaborate with Legal, Commercial, Patient Advocacy, and Support Services to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies.

The role focuses on governance, training, third-party risk, and program improvements in a fast-paced biopharma environment. Strong leadership and regulatory expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, CPA) preferred.
• 12+ years of pharmaceutical or life sciences compliance experience.
• Experience supporting commercial and/or other functions in a compliance business partner capacity.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Compliance Business Partner to Commercial, Patient Advocacy, Patient Support Services, and other stakeholders.
• Provide compliance review and oversight of activities including HCP engagements, advisory boards, patient programs, and promotional materials.
• Advise on business initiatives using legal and compliance frameworks with Legal collaboration.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and communications.
• Conduct third-party risk management including due diligence and monitoring of vendors and partners.
• Participate in governance activities, grant committees, and business reviews with compliance guidance.
• Support monitoring, risk assessment, investigations, and remediation efforts.
• Contribute to policies, procedures, and program infrastructure.
