Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Compliance Business Partner to guide cross-functional teams across Commercial, Patient Advocacy, Patient Support Services, and more. You will provide proactive, risk-based guidance to ensure ethical interactions and regulatory alignment.

You will review HCP engagements, advisory boards, patient programs, promotional materials, and agreements with Legal, while developing training and governance programs to strengthen our compliance program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (JD/MBA/CPA) or Paralegal certification.
• 12+ years pharmaceutical/life sciences compliance experience.
• Experience as a compliance business partner; knowledge of healthcare laws and industry codes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Compliance Business Partner to cross-functional stakeholders, providing risk-based guidance.
• Review and oversee HCP engagements, advisory boards, patient programs, and promotional materials.
• Advise on business initiatives using legal and compliance frameworks; review docs with Legal.
• Support development and delivery of compliance training and communications.
• Conduct third-party risk management including due diligence and ongoing oversight.
• Participate in governance activities with compliance guidance.
• Support monitoring, risk assessment, investigations, trend analysis, remediation.
• Develop and improve compliance policies, procedures, and program infrastructure.
• Communicate risks and insights to leadership and governance forums.
