Job summary

The National Community Reinvestment Corporation (NCRC) seeks a Senior Director to supervise the Community Development Fund (CDF) functions, including business development, lending oversight, and staff management. You will serve as a key external representative, building relationships with funders, partners, and the broader community development ecosystem to expand opportunity and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Public Policy, or related field required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in community development finance, CDFI lending, or related field.
• 5+ years in a management role with direct staff supervision.
• Deep knowledge of the CDFI ecosystem, including CDFI Fund programs, certification requirements, and compliance.
• Proven track record in business development, lending, and portfolio management.
• Strong financial acumen including credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to economic inclusion, racial equity, and community development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the CDF's lending pipeline through proactive outreach and partnership development.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with community partners, economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, technical assistance providers, philanthropic funders, and impact investors.
• Actively represent the CDF externally through community events, industry conferences, workshops, and networking opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to expand lending programs, capital sources, and service offerings.
• Cultivate relationships with borrowers, serving as a trusted advisor to small businesses, nonprofits, and community developers.
