Job summary

You will direct coding staff, lead denial management and audit activity, collaborate with IT, and steer the annual budget and strategic initiatives to improve revenue cycle performance and compliant reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Seven years of related work experience and CPT coding knowledge required.
• Seven years of management experience in a large health care system.
• Experience with Medicare auditing, third-party reimbursement, and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize hospital and professional coding across Sanford Health.
• Provide leadership in coding, denials/audits, and IT collaboration.
• Lead denial management and audit activity, improve compliance and outcomes.
• Develop and manage multi-million dollar budget and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sanford leaders to ensure coding integrity and data collection.
