Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Three years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Certification in CCDS or C-CDI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate comprehensive medical record documentation reflecting clinical treatment, decisions and diagnoses for inpatients/residents.
• Educate internal customers on compliance, coding and clinical documentation issues.
• Consult with coders for accurate DRG assignment and support daily documentation review.
