The Senior Director/Co-Director, Performance Informatics is responsible for leading the Data & Analytics team in the Network Performance Group as well as leading interdepartmental efforts at the medical center and health system to enhance the ability to acquire and analyze data for quality/performance improvement efforts and provide expertise for the prioritization of quality topics where resources should be devoted. This includes, but is not limited to, contributing to strategic planning to improve Montefiore’s ability to respond to external pay-for-performance programs as well as improve Montefiore’s performance in public hospital rankings (e.g., CMS Hospital Quality Star Rating) , setting performance goals for performance improvement, facilitating quality/performance improvement activities by serving as an expert in health policy and quality measurement, advising and assisting with the acquisition of data needed to support quality/performance improvement activities, providing quantitative/analytic expertise to gauge success with meeting quality/performance improvement goals, and serving as a lead executive, in partnership with MIT, in establishing a standardized data governance and reporting infrastructure via the new enterprise reporting standard, Power BI.
