Job summary

Safe Harbor Recovery Center is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to oversee the clinical department, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. The role includes leading psychosocial assessments, therapy, discharge planning, and program development in a non-remote, onsite setting.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a clinical field and licensure with five+ years in addiction treatment,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical, psychology or social service field required.
• Five+ years’ experience in addiction treatment (inpatient or outpatient) with SUDs and/or co-occurring disorders to be considered.
• Two years’ supervisory/management experience in 24/7 inpatient/residential settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinical department.
• Provide direct supervision to clinical staff and guidance to other staff on clinical programming.
• Lead psychosocial assessments, groups, family therapies, and treatment plan development/review.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality care across all clinical programs.
• Serve as Chief Health Care Disparity Officer to address disparities and improve outcomes.
• Coordinate with leadership for staffing, scheduling, and coaching to meet department goals.
• Review charts, discharge planning, and care coordination; maintain documentation in medical records.
• Develop and evaluate new programs and community relations activities.
