Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Medical Director to provide strategic and scientific leadership for oncology development programs from early research through registration. Qualifications

• MD/DO with 6+ years of clinical, scientific, or drug development experience, preferably in biopharmaceutical oncology.
• Focus on cancer therapies, particularly cell or gene therapy modalities like CAR T-cells; experience with early to late-stage development, INDs, proof-of-concept, and registrational trials; involvement in global regulatory submissions; strong leadership in cross-functional teams; ability to influence and mentor.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical strategies for oncology programs from early research through registration.
• Oversee study execution and ensure quality and timelines of trials.
• Author regulatory documents and manage interactions with regulatory agencies.
