Job Overview

The Sr Director of Clinical Account Management provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of account executives, focusing on client satisfaction and retention. This role collaborates across functions to align and execute on Prime's and clients' priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the account executive team; serve as escalation point and issue resolver.
  • Develop processes and metrics to monitor performance and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and internal teams; foster a consultative, service-oriented partnership to enhance satisfaction and expand product adoption.
  • Collaborate on Go-To-Market strategies and maintain communication to monitor performance and improve processes.
  • Lead contract negotiations, participate in RFPs, and oversee project implementations.
  • Manage account assignments, strategic planning, and client engagement discussions.
  • Oversee budgets, revenue goals, staffing, and team development; support team members and resolve employee issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 8+ years in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management client services, preferably Medicaid.
  • 5+ years in leadership and people management.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Skills
  • Industry expertise in PBM, pharmacy trends, Medicaid benefits.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize compliance and business goals; manage multiple complex projects.
  • Proven leadership in team building, strategic planning, and client retention.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and implementing process improvements.
Additional Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Physical Demands & Compensation
  • Travel up to 30%; flexible with work hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to sit, handle, reach, stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform visual tasks.
  • Salary range: $143,000 - $243,000 depending on experience.
