Job Description

The Sr Director of Clinical Account Management provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of account executives. The role is responsible for client satisfaction and retention, collaborating across functions to align and execute on Prime's and clients' priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the account executive team; serve as escalation point and issue resolver.
  • Develop processes and metrics to monitor contract performance and prevent issues; document SOPs and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and internal teams; ensure client satisfaction, contract renewals, and product adoption.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional partners; develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and participate in RFPs; oversee project implementations.
  • Manage account assignments and team structure for retention and strategic support.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with clients to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, revenue goals, staffing, and team development; support and coach team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Administration, PharmD, or related; or equivalent experience. HS diploma or GED required.
  • 8+ years client services experience in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management, preferably Medicaid.
  • 5+ years leadership/people management experience.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of the PBM industry and pharmacy trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, conflict resolution, and influence skills.
  • Ability to prioritize compliance, business goals, and initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills; capable of managing multiple complex projects.
  • Proven leadership in building team culture and strategic planning.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and develop solutions.
  • Effective in a matrixed environment, leading across departments.
  • Ability to lead process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 30%.
  • Work outside standard hours as needed.
  • Prolonged sitting, handling, talking, hearing.
  • Frequent reaching; occasional standing, walking, stooping, lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Visual acuity requirements.

All employees must adhere to security and legal requirements and policies.

Salary range: $143,000 - $243,000, based on experience.
