Job summary

CTMC, a Texas Medical Center-based biotech venture, seeks an experienced leader to drive business development and alliance activities across cell therapy partnerships. You will manage the pipeline, negotiate agreements, and coordinate with CTMC’s leadership to advance collaborations in CAR-T, TIL and related modalities.

You will lead CRM adoption, partner outreach, and governance of PAL, contributing to a scalable strategy and execution plan with strong cross-functional collaboration in Houston,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; PhD or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of biopharmaceutical experience, with 6+ years in Corporate/BD.
• CRM implementation/management experience (Monday, HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Cell therapy manufacturing experience preferred; viral vector background helpful.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel ~20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD and pipeline management across CTMC partnerships.
• Define target partnership profiles and acquisition strategies for cell therapy partners.
• Build and maintain relationships through all pipeline stages.
• Identify prospective biotech/academic partners for development/manufacturing.
• Represent CTMC at conferences; plan outreach strategies with executives.
• Organize on-site partner visits and CTMC representation at events in Houston.
• Support expansion of partnerships with PAL leadership and technical teams.
• Negotiate development/manufacturing agreements and service terms.
• Develop and refine a strategic Alliance plan with master services and deliverables.
• Lead CRM onboarding and drive adoption across stakeholders.
• Establish workflows for partnerships and opportunities.
