What you'll do...

The Sr. Director, Strategy & Business Operations, Marketplace will be responsible for leading and managing business operations and strategic projects within the Marketplace organization for Walmart eCommerce. This role will report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Marketplace and involve developing and managing strategic projects, optimizing business processes, and driving collaboration, accountability, and overall effectiveness for the Marketplace business. The leader will play a key role in ensuring seamless end-to-end execution of critical growth projects, driving planning, business review cadences, and ensuring accountability to organizational objectives and key results.

Key Focus Areas:

1. Strategy Development and Deployment:

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refine the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
• Lead strategic planning, goal-setting, and performance monitoring.
• Define KPIs and establish metrics for business performance measurement.

Operational Execution and Accountability:

• Analyze data to identify improvement areas and support data-driven decisions.
• Streamline operations, improve collaboration, and enhance communication.
• Optimize business processes for efficiency and productivity.

• Experience working cross-functionally among stakeholders and technical teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field, with 7+ years' experience in retail or operations management, and 3 years supervisory experience. Alternatively, 9+ years' experience in retail or operations management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on cross-functional teams, advanced degrees in relevant fields (e.g., Supply Chain, Computer Science, Transportation).
