CDC Global Solutions are proud to be partnering with a global pharma and med device CDMO focused on final assembly and secondary packing of complex drug delivery systems. As part of their business expansion plan, they are looking for someone to work on cultivating and nurturing relationships with new pharma (Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, Biosimilars, Generics etc) customers.
The Senior Director Business Development – Secondary Packaging - Eastcoast will report to the CCO.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic expansion of our presence within the Pharma, Drug Delivery assembly, and Secondary Packing Markets in North America.
- Find and qualify prospective clients through email, phone calls, virtual meetings and in-territory networking events.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders involved in scoping projects and maintaining client relationships, including technical staff, project management staff and administrative staff.
- Work closely with colleagues in Europe and Asia who are responsible for developing Design and Development opportunities, ensuring seamless coordination where Final Assembly and Secondary Packaging opportunities exist.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to generate follow on business.
- Prepare technical proposals using provided templates and input from technical staff.
- Travel expectation: 25% to 50% around NA.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in the life science, pharma packaging or CDMO industry
- 5+ years of experience selling secondary packaging services for drug delivery/pharma.
- Good understanding of biosimilars & liquid injectables.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with both external and internal stakeholders and decision makers.
- High comfort level with highly competitive situations and complex customer needs.
Salary and Benefits
Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr
