Job summary

Countable Labs is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to drive strategic revenue growth with top-20 pharmaceutical and biotech accounts. This executive role requires a proven BD leader who can build trusted partnerships with R&D, translational, and diagnostics leadership across Oncology, Cell and Gene Therapy, PGx, CDx, and MRD.

The role requires 50–70% travel within the US and select international sites, reporting to the VP of Global Sales, and close collaboration with product,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise business development or sales in biopharma, diagnostics, or life sciences tech.
• Ability to navigate long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
• Comfort engaging with C-suite and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and advance a qualified pipeline across R&D, clinical development, and diagnostics.
• Full-cycle ownership of strategic enterprise deals from ID to close.
• Design and deliver consultative, technically credible solutions for each account.
• Lead commercial negotiations and structuring complex multi-stakeholder agreements.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships with scientific, clinical, and commercial decision-makers.
• Partner with product, science, and leadership to shape offerings and forecast pipeline.
• Represent Countable Labs at industry events to build market presence.
