Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished leader to define and drive the enterprise Platform Engineering strategy across Consumer Products and Corporate Technology. You will shape cloud-native platforms, improve developer experience, and ensure scalable, secure software delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering/IT.
• Progressive leadership experience managing enterprise Platform Engineering and DevSecOps.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success building modern cloud-native engineering platforms.
• Deep understanding of Platform Engineering, SRE, security, cloud infra, and automation.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled software development capabilities and autonomous engineering practices.
• Experience managing enterprise tech budgets and strategic vendor relationships.
• Strong executive communication and organizational transformation skills.

• Define and execute the enterprise Platform Engineering strategy supporting Consumer Products and Corporate Technology.
• Lead the evolution of engineering platforms that improve developer experience, platform consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Establish enterprise standards for platform architecture, engineering automation, and software delivery.
• Drive adoption of Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), Infrastructure as Code, cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes, container platforms, release engineering, environment management, artifact repositories, secrets management, observability platforms, and platform networking.
• Build reusable engineering capabilities that enable product teams to deliver software securely and efficiently.
• Leadership, People Management, Budget & Vendor Management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent academic or professional experience.
• Progressive leadership experience managing enterprise Platform Engineering and DevSecOps organizations.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success building modern cloud-native engineering platforms.
• Deep understanding of Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Application Security, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, and engineering automation.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled software development capabilities and autonomous engineering practices.
• Experience managing enterprise technology budgets and strategic vendor relationships.
• Strong executive communication and organizational transformation skills.
