Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Director, Assistant Controller to lead and scale the global accounting organization. You will partner with Revenue Accounting, Finance, Legal, HR, IT and executives to build a best-in-class function focused on accuracy, efficiency, and strong controls.

This role drives ERP optimization and AI automation to support rapid growth in a SaaS environment. You will oversee the monthly close, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and the SOX program, while

Qualifications

• 12+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting and industry leadership in multi-entity, SOX environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and automation.
• NetSuite experience or similar ERP.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting function and controllership roadmap.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close and prepare financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and equity administration.
• Oversee intercompany and international accounting including third-party teams.
• Be the technical accounting SME for US GAAP/IFRS and memos.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOX readiness.
