EVENTUM Enterprise Solutions (EES) is expanding its Asset Servicing vertical and is seeking a senior-level professional to lead business development, manage key client relationships, oversee consultant engagements, and drive operational excellence. The Director will work in close collaboration with our leadership team, our Talent Acquisition and Operations partners to grow a high-performing advisory and staffing business, with a strong focus on hedge funds, fund administrators, family offices, and asset managers.
This role blends high-touch client engagement, strategic sales, and people management with a hands-on approach to delivery oversight and internal process optimization. It is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader with deep buy-side knowledge and a proven record in solution-oriented consulting or talent delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Originate and close new business opportunities across hedge funds, family offices, fund administrators, and asset managers.
- Lead market segmentation, outreach campaigns, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with firm leadership.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of project execution and staff augmentation engagements, ensuring a balance of high-value, strategic deals and repeatable service offerings.
- Develop and continuously evaluate the sales and marketing strategy to ensure we are in position to advance our services in correlation with the marketplace, client demand and identified competition.
- Function as the primary client touch point to determine market trends, and future needs to uncover potential new product/service launch opportunities.
- Identify potential acquisition and merger opportunities in correlation with growth roadmap.
- Cultivate third party relationships and develop cross selling strategies to enhance our value proposition to our clients.
- Provide consultative advisory services using industry best practice solutions to contribute to client business modernization, organizational transformation and project execution objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of strategic clients.
- Conduct scoping sessions and collaborate with clients on advisory and staffing solution design.
- Ensure consistent delivery quality, outcome tracking, and client satisfaction across engagements.
- Work with clients on legal and service documentation, pricing, and strategic account planning.
3. Engagement Oversight & Service Delivery
- Co-lead client projects from onboarding through execution—ensuring proper consultant alignment, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
- Support lift-out and buildout initiatives, packaging opportunities to maximize client value and long-term relationships.
- Monitor contract compliance, timelines, and margins on consulting engagements.
·Manage the financial performance and profitability of each engagement.
4. Talent Evaluation & Collaboration with Recruiters
- Actively assess talent for both existing client needs and future pipeline opportunities.
- Work with external talent acquisition management partners to build a scalable, high-quality recruiting process.
- Ensure timely candidate submissions, feedback loops, and adherence to quality standards for cultural and technical fit.
- Establish clear feedback and communication practices with recruiters to maintain alignment and efficiency.
5. Internal Operations Management
- Manage coordination with our parent company’s Operations team to ensure seamless onboarding, payroll, benefits, and consultant servicing.
- Oversee internal workflows for contract execution, client invoicing, compliance, and documentation.
- Ensure the Operations team represents EES professionally in all client-facing interactions (e.g., billing, legal agreements, and onboarding logistics).
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in consulting, business development, or operations within financial services, preferably focused on hedge funds, asset management, or fund administration.
- Demonstrated success in originating and executing consulting or talent-based engagements.
- Strong network in the buy-side space—CIO/COO/Fund Ops relationships a plus.
- Familiarity with advisory services, staffing models, lift-outs, and product development frameworks.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with recruiters and delivery managers.
- Highly organized, metrics-driven, and client-focused with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
