Job summary

Crusoe is building a centralized analytics and data science function to empower bold decisions across cloud, manufacturing, and energy domains. The Senior Director will lead a newly formed team embedded with business units, owning data models, certified marts, and executive reporting.

The role requires deep technical credentials, executive credibility, and a track record of delivering forecast‑driven insights in a fast‑moving organization. Remote‑friendly, strong leadership expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in analytics or data science.
• 5+ years leading teams of data scientists and analysts.
• Experience building data models, governance, and certified marts.

Responsibilities

• Stand up the central analytics team and define staffing/operating model.
• Build and develop analysts and data scientists, career paths and development.
• Set standards for analytical rigor including forecasting and experimental design.
• Develop data science capabilities for predictive work and experimentation.
• Own certified data marts, metric definitions, and business-rule testing.
• Own executive and cross‑business reporting built on certified marts.
• Drive high-stakes decision support and translate complex questions into actionable insights.
• Build toward self-service analytics with well-documented data definitions.
• Maintain close proximity to the business with embedded analysts across domains.
• Partner with the data team on data foundation and domain context.
