Job summary
Lilly is seeking an accomplished leader to build and lead the analytical development team within the Advanced Delivery Systems organization. You will drive development of RNA-LNP therapies and collaborate with Genetic Medicines, Formulation, Bioproduct R&D, and other teams to advance the pipeline.
The ideal candidate has a PhD in a relevant field, 10+ years in assay development, and 5+ years in leadership, with deep LC-MS and separation sciences experience.
Qualifications
- PhD in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, molecular biology, or related biological science with 10+ years in assay development and 5+ years in leadership.
- Experience leading analytical development teams for advanced cell and gene therapeutics in fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on in LC-MS and separation sciences for characterizing RNA cargos, lipids, and nanoparticles.
Responsibilities
- Establish vision and roadmap for analytical development functions.
- Provide organizational leadership aligned with company objectives.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain scientific talent.
- Define product CQAs and assess developability; manage tech transfer."
- Lead development, qualification, and transfer of analytical methods for release and stability testing.
