Illinois State University is seeking a Senior Director of Alumni Engagement to lead the strategy and execution of comprehensive alumni programs. You will supervise the Alumni Engagement team and drive planning of marquee events like Homecoming, reunions, and regional programs in collaboration with Athletics and campus partners.

The role focuses on growing alumni participation, extending lifelong relationships, and advancing philanthropic involvement across CASE modes of engagement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 7+ years in alumni relations, engagement, or higher education.
• Experience developing comprehensive engagement strategies for alumni or volunteers.
• 3+ years supervising staff or teams.
• Experience planning and executing large events with multiple partners.
• Experience recruiting and stewarding volunteers and leaders.
• Ability to collaborate with academic units, senior leaders and external constituents.
• Ability to set goals, measure participation and use data to inform strategy.
• Strong project management, budgets and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to create inclusive programs across generations and demographics.
• Experience managing programs, contracts, vendors or external partners.

• Provide strategic leadership for Illinois State University's alumni engagement programs.
• Supervise and develop the Alumni Engagement team and coordinate marquee events.
• Partner with the Alumni Association Board and campus partners to deliver meaningful alumni experiences.
