The Director of Alumni Advocacy Communications at University of Minnesota Alumni Association (UMAA) leads an enterprise-level communications strategy to elevate the reputation, influence, and engagement of UMAA among alumni, university partners, and external networks.

You will work with senior leaders, craft executive remarks and materials, oversee advocacy campaigns, and collaborate across campuses in a hybrid, on-campus role in the Twin Cities.

Qualificações

• BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• Six+ years of full-time experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.
• Proven ability to lead high-impact, multi-stakeholder communication strategies.
• On-campus presence required: hybrid role, three days/week.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute advocacy campaigns mobilizing alumni at the state level.
• Produce internal and external communications across PR, news, newsletters, web content, multi-media, social media, etc., ensuring consistent messaging.
• Craft executive-level remarks, columns, and strategic presentations for the UMAA leadership.
• Support CEO and UMAA Board communications with strategic writing and briefing materials.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and external stakeholders to amplify UMAA's brand.
