Job summary

ACI Jet in San Luis Obispo, CA, seeks a Director of Maintenance to oversee maintenance for the managed fleet. You will lead the Maintenance department, ensure compliance with FARs and OEM AMM, and coordinate with flight operations to meet on-time aircraft availability.

The ideal candidate has a valid A&P certificate, 10+ years in aviation maintenance with 5+ years in leadership, strong budgeting and IT skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid A&P certificate and meet CFR 119.71(e).
• Minimum 10 years of aviation maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive supervisory experience.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Eligible to work in the United States; DOT safety sensitive role.
• Proficient with Google Suite, MS Word/Excel, and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance program for all company aircraft under FAR 135.
• Ensure maintenance in accordance with CFR parts 43, 91, 135 and OEM AMM.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with dispatch and flight operations.
• Mentor Maintenance Manager team on projects and processes.
• Maintain documentation, records and logs for all activities.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and cost control.
• Maintain safety, SQMS, and CASS program compliance.
• Sign FAA correspondence and act as signatory for D0T/Part D ops.
