Job summary

Ryder in the United States seeks a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program, reporting to the CIO. This leader will develop strategy for securing AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

They will recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, partnering with executives to securely enable AI adoption and ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computerscience, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field (Preferred).
• 10 years or more in Progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3 years or more in experience designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.
• 2 years or more in experience in AWS, GCP and/or Azure cloud computing security configuration and management.
• 2 years or more in experience in application security with an emphasis on AI/ML.
• 5 years or more in leading security architecture or engineering organizations.
• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF, RMF, Privacy Framework (Advanced).
• CISSP required, upon hire.
• CSSLP/CCSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, architectures, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, mentoring, budgeting, and operations.
• Partner with executives to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and secure design approvals.
