Salesforce is seeking a visionary Senior Director of Product Strategy to join our Product Strategy & Innovation team. You will shape the future of our product platform by guiding strategy at the intersection of vision, market intelligence, and architecture.

You will lead a team of strategists, translating complex tech and market dynamics into executable plans, including open source, API-first, and platform initiatives, with a focus on AI, trust infrastructure, and developer tooling.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience spanning product management, product strategy, technology strategy, or innovation roles.
• Ability to lead and develop teams of 3+ strategists, researchers, or product managers in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep working knowledge of AI and machine learning architectures, including agentic systems and LLM-based applications.
• Strong understanding of systems of record, data platforms, and enterprise app architectures.
• MBA, MS, or equivalent advanced degree is a plus; demonstrated outcomes matter more than credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy for forward-looking innovation, whitespace identification, and productization planning across Salesforce's AI and platform portfolio.
• Drive strategy for offerings evolving from internal capabilities to standalone or platform-integrated products.
• Own evaluation frameworks for build-buy-partner decisions and acquisition integrations.
• Identify market shifts and translate into actionable investment recommendations.
• Define gaps in strategic coverage and present clear viewpoints to executives.
• Synthesize engineering, product, research, M&A inputs into data-supported strategic bets.
• Perform quantitative and competitive analyses to size opportunities and inform investments.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to expand strategy into European markets with local nuances.
• Monitor venture trends and open-source movements to stay ahead of paradigms.
