Job summary

Adobe is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to own the strategy and execution for the Adobe Intelligence Platform, unifying AI-native capabilities across Creative Cloud, Experience Cloud, Document Cloud, and future product lines. The leader will shape the technical vision and drive large-scale platform initiatives.

You will grow the organization, hire top engineers, and collaborate with product, design, security, and legal teams to deliver observable, trusted systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience leading engineering organizations through ambiguity and change.
• Direct experience with platform or infrastructure work: building the layer other engineering teams depend on.
• Working fluency in AI/ML systems: evals, context management, model gateways, and adjacent areas.
• Technical depth with agentic frameworks and the operational patterns to manage them at scale.
• A track record of building or significantly reshaping an engineering org, including hiring and leadership development.
• Comfortable influencing progress with a platform in a shifting technical landscape.
• Strong cross-functional influence to drive platform adoption across global teams.
• Exceptional communication skills to inspire teams with a compelling vision.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a holistic and full stack engineering strategy for the Adobe Intelligence Platform.
• Integrate platform components into web, desktop, and mobile surfaces, partnering with global teams.
• Grow the organization, including hiring world-class talent and developing future AI leaders.
• Model and drive new ways of working using advanced AI tooling to plan, review, and ship software.
• Define roadmaps for agentic orchestration, model gateways, knowledge graph services, and memory systems.
• Set operating rhythm with program and product partners: planning, prioritization, dependencies.
