Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. seeks a Senior Director to define and drive AI, Gen AI, and Data Science strategies across the R&D value chain.

You will lead a high-performing team of scientists and developers, translating scientific challenges into scalable, compliant AI solutions. You will collaborate with DSAI, DnA leadership, and IT to ensure governance, reliability, and regulatory alignment while delivering impactful data-driven insights across drug development, trials, and Real-World Data

Formación

• 12+ years in data science/AI with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Experience architecting large-scale data/AI in regulated environments.
• Pharma/biotech R&D experience is highly desirable.
• Proven Gen AI deployment in production settings.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Define AI/Gen AI strategy for R&D and establish a roadmap.
• Lead a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers.
• Oversee portfolio execution, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with IT, platform teams, and external partners.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
