Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) is seeking an Associate Director, AI and Data Scientist to lead hands-on AI/DS initiatives across Pharma R&D operations. The role focuses on architecture, design guidance, and cross-functional delivery of AI solutions that accelerate drug development and enterprise data workflows.

The position requires deep expertise in AI/ML, Gen AI, and responsible AI practices, with collaboration across IT, AI platform engineers, and business stakeholders to drive AI

Qualificações

• Masters degree in data science, computer engineering, computer science, physics, statistics, information systems or related discipline; PhD preferred.
• Expertise with real-world data assets to generate scientific evidence and guide operations.
• Experience architecting and delivering AI/ML use cases and data engineering solutions.

Responsabilidades

• AI product strategy: develop a product vision and roadmap for AI-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Experiment with, develop and train AI models; validate them for production deployment.
• Work with Gen AI, LLMs, and PoCs to advance data analytics in drug development.
• Use KPIs to monitor AI product performance and drive data-driven decisions.
• Ensure responsible AI, privacy by design and regulatory compliance.
