Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a Senior Director of Data & Digital Product Architecture to design and industrialize enterprise data and digital product assets, turning bespoke work into reusable, production-ready solutions built on a centralized Silver layer. You will lead Data Architecture and partner with Data Engineering, Digital Product, Analytics, and AI teams to accelerate modeling and deployment.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in data/solution architecture within an enterprise data environment.
• Experience designing scalable, enterprise-agnostic data models.
• Ability to transform bespoke solutions into reusable, production-ready assets.
• Strong knowledge of medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Hands-on understanding of CI/CD pipelines and production promotions.
• Proven ability to apply AI and automation to accelerate modeling and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Architecture to design scalable, enterprise-agnostic data models.
• Set architectural direction and reference models for Data Engineering/Analysis.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture tying data and digital product capabilities to the medallion model.
• Design reusable blueprints and reference patterns aligned to enterprise standards.
• Translate architecture into buildable, production-ready designs for engineering teams.
• Weave AI and automation to compress modeling time and refactor to centralized Silver sources.
• Integrate data/digital product solutions onto shared sources and embed automation.
• Establish standards and enable adoption across teams; centralize reusable components.
