Job summary

CSL Behring’s BARDS organization seeks a Director, AI & Data Science to lead AI strategy, analytics, and governance across Commercial and Medical priorities. You will translate business needs into scalable AI/DS solutions, drive adoption, and shape capability roadmaps in a global, regulated life sciences context.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong life sciences knowledge, and ability to influence senior stakeholders while building scalable operating models and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative field; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 12+ years in data science, AI/ML, or healthcare analytics.
• Experience leading cross-functional AI/ML initiatives in regulated environments.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into data science use cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/DS strategy and governance across BARDS and enterprise priorities.
• Oversee development and deployment of AI/ML, GenAI solutions, and decision support.
• Partner with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and I&T to drive adoption and ROI.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure responsible AI governance and risk management.
