Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Senior Director, Agency Distribution Decision Science, to lead a team focused on data-driven decisions that drive business outcomes. You will combine data expertise, statistical principles, and communication to surface insights that influence strategy across multiple areas beyond pricing and reserving.

Qualifications

• Eight years of related data and analytic experience.
• Experience with explanatory, diagnostic, and inferential techniques such as experimental design and hypothesis testing.
• Experience handling large-scale multidimensional data with open-source cloud-enabled analytical languages.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strategic thinker with sound judgment to resolve issues.
• Excellent communication to translate analyses for all levels of the org.
• Proactively build and own professional business relationships across the Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach the team in analytical methods to influence business decisions.
• Mentor analytics talent, onboard new employees, and support recruiting.
• Promote adoption of new data tools and industry best practices.
• Interpret findings across analyses and influence action balancing constraints and impact.
• Build partnerships across lines and functional teams for key decisions.
• Ensure data strategy and quality and propose improvements to supporting areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
