The organization has been unwavering in its mission to provide households with access to sufficient, nutritious food and related resources through collaboration, efficient operations, education, and innovative solutions.
Gleaners’ vision is bold and clear: To end hunger in Southeast Michigan. Essential to achieving this vision is a strong and strategic Advancement team. Together, Gleaners’ Advancement team is responsible for raising $18M annually through a comprehensive, relationship-based fundraising program.
The Senior Director of Advancement (Position Profile linked HERE)
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Senior Director is responsible for leading members of the Advancement’s frontline fundraising team who play a key role in raising philanthropic gifts in the mid and major donor giving segments.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic and proven development leader with experience cultivating and securing five and six-figure gifts. This leader will be an agile self-starter with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for Gleaners’ mission, vision, and future.
Location: The successful candidate must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Detroit, Michigan area.
Compensation: The salary for this position is expected to range from $135,000 to $150,000 with a generous benefits package.
